Session 6 (Panel session): Technology in Support of Trade Facilitation in the Digital Age: Showcasing Success Stories

With the growth of international trade and the increasing complexity of global supply chains, Customs administrations are exploring various technological solutions to support them in ensuring trade facilitation, supply chain security and efficient revenue collection.

This session will explore how innovation and technology can support Customs and other border agencies in performing their functions and achieving increased efficiency, transparency, and enhanced inter-agency cooperation. The session will showcase Customs-to-Customs exchange of information, the use of Single Window and other technological solutions by Customs and other border agencies in support of governments’ trade facilitation agendas.
