Hoai T.V. Nguyen Representative of Viet Nam Customs to WCO

Nguyen Thi Vinh Hoai is the Representative of Viet Nam Customs to the World Customs Organization, First Secretary of Viet Nam Embassy in Belgium. Prior to being assigned as the Representative to the WCO in March 2023, Hoai worked in the International Cooperation Department of Viet Nam Customs and was responsible for multilateral and bilateral cooperative programs including activities in WCO, APEC, WTO cooperation, researches on international customs’ law and policies, trade facilitation and information exchange operations of Viet Nam Customs. She also worked as a trainer for various training courses at Viet Nam Customs School, and had a hand in international events of Viet Nam Customs as interpreter, facilitator and MC. Hoai earned a Bachelor of International Relations degree in Ha Noi National University, and a Master’s degree in International Policies from Australian National University. 2016: Certificate of Interpretation (Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam). 2014: Master Degree in International Policies (Australian National University). 2010: English Terminology Certificate (Queensland University). 2006: Customs Techniques Certificate (Shanghai Customs College). 2004: Bachelor of International Relations (Hanoi National University).
