The integrity of Customs administrations, other government agencies and private sector entities is essential for a country’s growth and economic prosperity, and lack of it adversely impacts the welfare of society through loss of efficiency and effectiveness.

This session will explore how digitalization and technology deployment, such as the use of detection technology, AI-based algorithms, and blockchain technology, among others, contribute to enhancing integrity in Customs.
