Charansingh Dabeesing Mauritius Cargo Community Services Ltd
Charansingh is a seasoned professional with 22 years’ experience in ICT, including 10 years expertise in Capacity building, Customs and Trade Facilitation. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Mauritius Cargo Community Services Ltd (MACCS) which operates the Cargo Community System to secure and facilitate trade operations in Mauritius as well as promoting logistics and trade facilition solutions at both national and regional levels.
He was previously Assistant Director/Head of IT at the Mauritius Revenue Authority (Tax and Customs Department) and Project IT Consultant in Singapore. He has also worked as Lead Expert at the World Customs Organization (WCO) promoting e-learning development as well as Digital Transformation projects in the Sub Saharan Africa Region.
He holds a Bachelor degree in IT from the National University of Singapore, an Executive Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Surrey UK and a Master degree in International Business Law (LLM) from University of Central Lancashire UK.
