Nicolas Mauricio Pedroza Contreras National Customs Agency of Mexico
Has been in service within the Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA) for 35 years, and holds studies in Criminology Security, Law and Terrorism.
Throughout his military career, he has received honors to the "Teaching Merit for Distinguished Services", and to the "Merit in Campaign Against Drug Trafficking in 3rd category"
Since March 1st of 2023, he has been working for the National Customs Agency of Mexico (ANAM) as the Director of Border Customs Supervision within the General Direction of Customs Operation.
Some of the activities under his responsibility are the implementation of the Unified Cargo Processing Program (UCP) with the United States of America and Guatemala, as well as the coordination of the Modernization Program of the Technological Infrastructure in ANAM.
This last program includes the renovation of the Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems currently installed in the 21 border customs.
