Greg Wilson Microsoft

Greg Wilson is Microsoft Worldwide Public Sector’s Chief Technology Officer for Government. His role is to help global Public Sector Government clients and partners to work with Microsoft technologies to achieve more by empowering growth, innovation, and digital transformation. He oversees support around the globe to Government Public Finance, Public Safety and Justice, Critical Infrastructure and Public Health and Social Services Partners and Customers. Prior to his current role he was Microsoft UK’s National Technology Officer and focused predominantly on the National Security sector cloud, data and AI solutions. Before working in Microsoft, he was in Defence leading command and control plus intelligence systems and cybersecurity in both procurement and operational combat roles for the British Army. He was also one of the UK Government Public Sector Major Programme Review Team Leaders, who reviewed Government Major Procurement Programmes on behalf of the UK Cabinet Office for a range of UK Government Departments. A Chartered Engineer and Fellow, Chartered IT Professional and Fellow, and Chartered Manager. He is a graduate of both the UK Ministry of Defence Higher Command and Staff College and Harvard Business School Flagship Advanced Management Programme.
